Has anyone ever tried to convert a Saturn 5 model into a submarine

    My dad worked on the Saturn V rocket engines, specifically the nozzles and cooling. I built the Gemini capsule that had skis on the bottom (one of the landing concept ides). Love our space program.
    If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

      You know why the Saturn V was so big, it was because the designer Wernher von Braun made it to go to Mars, he figured that would be the next step after the moon. I believe it is still the largest rocket ever built.
