Where are they now?

One of my next subs was a Lee Upshaw Alfa I got from a fellow in Canada who wasn't able to complete the assembly. After working with it for a few weeks I finally got the hull to line up to my satisfaction. I ran it as a dynamic driver with a WTC (precursor to the Sub Driver) in our neighborhood pool. It was a fun boat to run but I eventually let it go to someone who hopefully had lot's of fun with it.
Anyone know if it is still out there?

My first RC sub was a Thor Permit. I was lost at first about how to assemble the electronics in the WTC (pre Sub Driver) but with some help from guys on this site I got it done and it ran fine. Later I turned it into a display model for my office.
Permit eventually to someone in the Carolina's.
I wonder where it is now.

Your work is gorgeous! All three boats are wonderfully done and show what great detail can go into a submarine. I am building a 1/48 scale Barbel but I certainly will not show it to you when it's done! I was able to see the Blueback in Portland last fall, It's a really nicely done exhibit!Comment
