Vitalspark, am I wrong or is the Espadon museum ship stored in one of the original U-Boat pens?IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

Yes, she's in one of the U-Boat pens. I'm glad you were able to get some interior pictures of her. If you think the U.S. diesel boats were complicated you have to see her! You would see seats all over the boat in tiny litlle cubby holes. This was probably due to the mechanically operated systems just prior to computerization?Comment

Yes, I wish that I lived near a museum sub. The Requin(GUPPY) used to be in Tampa Bay, Florida until they decided that they didnt want it anymore. I still have actual photographs of her and her interior but I dont have anyway to post them on here as I dont have the original negatives. They moved her far away.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

Here is another one of Gymnote. I read about her yesterday. I was surprised to find out that she was originally designed to recieve a nuclear reactor but they wernt ready in time with a reactor small enough to fit in the hull. So diesel it became. It was also armed with four(4) ballistic missiles. It made the first launch of a French Ballistic missile.Gymnote is the subject of the first two(2) pictures in solosubs last post above.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment
