I'm also a scuba diver, and do it "in the blue" near a sub has to be ... Whow!!!!!!! A relative of mine were in the Spanish Navy combat divers unit and did it, incluiding a sub transfer onboard a mystic between USS ARCHERFISH and other sub. He told me the experience was really unforgettable. What an envy.

You are welcome. I feel that , well if you cant show people what you have found then why have them. Its a moment in time. It would be a crime to hide and hoard them like some people do. I get aggrevated at people on these various sites like Flickr who post these great pictures but disable downloading. WHY YOU #@!&***(^%>>>#^**&+!! Sorry........Rant Over.

Indeed. In the 'early' days, when only the mails were available to us as a means of communicating pictures back and forth, things were tough to hand around.

There was this one ass-hole in German, who operated a 'picture service' (think it was called, 'The Bunker' or some such). He water-marked everything he could get his hands on. Sold copies at outrageous prices. And he was nasty; had a public relations style that makes me look like Jesus Christ in comparison! Hard times for researchers and model builders back then.

The Internet -- and guys like you, Mark -- have changed all that. Thank you so much for you good works.

Very easy to get around that one. I use Firefox browser, which is a lot better than Explorer or Chrome IMO. To grab an protected image from Flickr or other sites that use such methods, just click on the 'Tools' option in the menu bar. Click 'Page info', a window will open, then click on the 'media' icon, and a list of addresses will appear ina box, scroll down the list looking for 'jpg/jpeg' files, and click on them, which will previes the file in the window below, quite quickly you will find the protected image, then just click 'save as' (I save it to the desktop usually- easy to find), and bingo- you have that picture preserved in aspic.

Sounds long winded I know, but once you try it, and get used to it, you'll find it takes seconds.

If you have a MAC grabbing photos is a 'snap'. (he! he! - that was funny!)

All you do is bring up the photo on your screen, and then hold 'shift' + 'command' + '4' A target sight Icon will appear which you click and drag around the photo.

Or you can - hold 'shift' + 'command' + '3' and you get a photo of the entire screen. Both options place the snapshot onto your clipboard, so you can drop it into any document editor etc. you wish.
