A question here for a semi retired guy enjoying time with hobbies finally.....
A long term project is my SM U-35. I have done a fair amount of Epoxy/Kevlar layup. Learned that from the shipwright who built the masts for the the USS Constellation (the wood one, not the FFG under construction). I was planning on doing a lost foam model for the U-35 with a Kevlar hull, but I have to wonder if a 3D printer is the way to go. Prices are coming down, and I have time to deal with availability. If so, which model? EEGLO Jupiter or something else?
Thoughts?
