    Servo deck flexing

Our group is meeting this Saturday, the 15th. So, I decided to break out the Blueback after several months of being idle. (yeah I know I should have looked at it sooner!) Inside the cylinder, when I operate the servos, the deck they are on flexes. This causes the throw of the servo arms to be very short and not operating the aft diving plane and rudder correctly. I am considering putting in a brace to go from the servo deck to the inside of cylinder. Any other suggestions on how to do it and the shape of it????

    Thanks

Don't rub ointment on the symptom, eradicate the disease!

That servo is flexing its foundation because there's excessive drag in the linkage. You either bent the pushrod where it passes through the seal, or the seal has become all gummed up. Pull the pushrod and work the problem.

From now on handle your WTC with more care.
