Are you 'blowing in' using a hose through the equalization valve (with core temporarily taken out to clear a path for air)?

Has any water accumulated in the LPB pump -- between the face of the motor and back-side of the diaphragms?

As Dave says, take out the valve core and hook a tube up to the valve and blow thru it with the sub-driver sealed up in water. the tube for the battery wires connects to the front compartment so it is being checked at the same time.
