Mark, Some great detail shots! for me it was interesting to see the bare pressure hull of the Type 7 under construction! can you enlarge it?

I used that same picture to detail upper pressure hull under the decks of my type VIIs with PE decks. I have a similar picture of two type IIs in the same yard from the similar POV to do my type IIs.

Some great pics, Mark. I picked up a couple new books in Chicago, basically for the pictures in the U boat book of WWI boats. The Brit book, is text only, but lots of storys. The British boat guys would like it. When I finish it I will pass it on for anybody interested.

Lets try this again. First, I upload the photos from a folder by clicking on the Icon with the paper and paperclip (top right)

Then I clicked on each of the three files I uploaded, choosing large, medium and small. Now those pics are embedded in the text here.

                      medium

                      small

Click image for larger version Name:	Spruance-2.jpg Views:	1 Size:	50.1 KB ID:	116770

Next to click on the X top right - opposite the boxes 'upload attachment' & 'Upload form URL'

I have found that the first photo uploaded, disappears when I delete the small attachment photos.
I doubled the permissible size of JPG files, but that hasn't helped when I select LARGE size. It seems that the first file should be a medium, and the rest are ok as large.
