Mark, I would have questions on all of the, type, designation number, is there a year, but not having that it still is a great reference for me! Keep up the great work.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.Comment

Well OK then. The first picture is of U-218, a type7d minelayer. You can see the mine shafts behind the conning tower. Also you can barely see a pale green swordfish emblem on the conning tower side showing that it was part of 9th submarine flotilla. The picture was taken from "Milchcow" U-461 between 9th and 14th of May, 1943.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

The second picture is of U-30 on july 7th 1940. It is being escorted into Lorient, during the fighting for Lorient. Behind the conning tower you can see the rescue buoy, recessed into the deck. It was released from the inside of the boat and would float upward, attached by a long length of chain to mark the submarines position.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

The third picture and 4th pictures is of U-71. It is July 2nd 1941. It is sail into St. Nazaire. Notice the gussets welded in at the top forward section of the Bridge area. U-70 was the same. This was not repeated.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

The fifth picture is of U-201. A type 7c boat. Shown sailing into Brest after a vey unsuccessful patrol. The date is July 19th 1941.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

The sixth and last picture is of U-333. This picture was largely unknown until recently. The picture shows the damage sustained by her when she was rammed by the British Tanker "British Prestige". After the damage, which was extremely severe, it continued on its mission anyway , sinking four ships. This picture was taken on May 26 1942. It was sailing into La Pallice.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment
