    Water-tight Power Switch, for SD

Sorry to be such a Pest with so many questions, but I would like to know what type of water-tight Switch is recommended for mounting in SD, to disconnecting battery power?
I have many types of switches but the only sealed ones are large toggle type.
    Please Advise.

    David,
One video I was able to watch (I think on YouTube) you were demoing the Seaview, you had a power switch on top front of SD. What type switch did you use and how was it sealed?
    Thanks,
    Rick L.

      Thanks,
One of those little DTDP toggles rated at 3 Amp's at 120 Volts. Good enough. Get the one with the 1/4-40 threaded collar, then get a boot to match that thread. I buy such stuff from Cain Electronic.

Okay Great, I have miniture toggle switches like that, I was affraid a simple flexable boot would not seal well enough. I'll give it a try. With some silicone-grease inside. ;)

The boots are equipped with a machined grove in the base of the thumb-screw that accepts an o-ring that seals up tight against the after face of the bulkhead/cap. No need to slather things up with silicon grease.

Okay, I've seen boots similar to that for larger 1/2" hole switches but not the 1/4" size. I'll check Newark to see if they have them.
