    Advance Seal Delivery System - some questions

    Hi guys
    take a look at this photo from the Navsource website of the ASDS



    Can anyone tell me please
    1- What is the structure below the hull of the ASDS and above the hull of the sub its mounted on (the Greenville) is?
    2-I know this had a fire on board in November 2008 and was not going to be repaired as the repairs exceeded its budget - that said what happened to it?
    3-Where any others built?

              It's showing okay now- was coming up with a red 'x' yesterday.

              I would think those are just mounting blocks perhaps with additional space for stowage.

              I would think Pete Piekarski would be a good person to ask about this as he built a miniature model for his 1/96 Ohio.
