    Revell UBoat VII Ballast Foam

I have finally perfected my version of ballast foam inserts for the Revell VII.

They need a final trim with a sharp knife and then a light coat of latex paint prior to being glued into the ballast tank area of the model. Use silicone RTV.

I intend to supply a piece of pink foam with them.

Would you like these included with the ballast weights, or should I supply them separately?

Wow, I was going to put in a lot more foam than that, in my VII!
Is that all that is Needed or is that Just for saddle-tanks???

It's the bulk of the material required. As soon as His Eminence has a sample we'll be getting a final report from him.

Those of us who already have the weights will want the foamies ala carte.

That said, if I were buying a kit, I'd want an option to have everything included. Even with all the fine engineering that goes into these subdrivers, it still takes some fiddling to get things absolutely right.

Grouping things like weights and foam takes away another chance to get things wrong--which should be very helpful in the long run.
