A complete amateur kit to produce photo-etched brass frets.
Simply produce your design on a 600dpi computer program like Coreldraw etc.
Print it to a special transparent film as a master that you can use over and over.
Place a special photo-resist (mask) film on your brass sheet and the printed film on top, then run it through a cheap laminator - like The Fellows EXL 45-2 from Staples.com @ $59.99
Then the film is exposed to a fluorescent light in this stand -
Finally, the brass sheet is etched in a special tank with agitation until the exposed metal is completely dissolved.
This is a simple process and we envisage having several kits to accommodate the occasional user and the professionals.
