will the 3'5" SAS SD kit fit in the Moebius 1/72 Skipjack?

Sirs,

Will the 3'5" SAS SD kit (30" long) fit in the Moebius 1/72 Skipjack if I don't intend to mount the torpedo system? I see where the 3.5" SAS SD designed for the Skipjack is only 20.25" long.

Gotta cut the cylinder back and buy the singl-motor,single-shaft motor bulkhead kit. Just spring for the 1/72 SKIPJACK SD and be done with it, already!
