    OD's of new SAS cylinders

    Sirs,

What are the Outside Diameters of your various new SAS cylinders? The only OD I see explicitly listed is the Moebius Seaview at 2"

everything but the tiny 1.25" SD's, Dan

    We produce 2", 2.5", 3" (soon), and 3.5" diameter SD's -- all SAS type.

      Thanks for the reply.

So, is this how it's going to work?

      1. I specify the overall length and diameter of the tube.
      2. I specify how many compartments I want - generally 2 or 3.
      3. I specify what type of snorkel I want - vertical or horizontal.

      OR,

I specify the model I want it to work in and you do the rest.

I see where you already have a 3.5" DIY kit. Good move on having a DIY kit. However, I'm waiting for a similar kit but in 3" OD. The first model it will go in is a Thor 1:96 Seawolf. If no 3" OD DIY is in the offing, I'll probably just buy the 3.5" OD version.

This is where I can see you jumping up and down yelling, "No fool, the 2.5" version will work right now." Alas, I need the extra OD for some other models - no compromise here besides my fat fingers love the extra 0.5" ID. Just humor me on this.

Having dug a little deeper I have learned the OD's of the various SAS models now offered.

The question on the new (soon) 3" SAS remains:

        1) How soon? How much?
        2) Will it be available as a DIY kit like the 3.5" version?

Dan, thats where a little kid around the house with little hands can help. If you dont have one Im sure that there is one in the neighborhood.
