    Robbe Seawolf v2 motor controller

    Hello everyone,
I'm new with rc models and I'm building a Robbe Seawolf v2, I don't have a motor controller yet and I would like to ask you if you could help me choosing one as I'm too new in this world.

The kit comes with a brushed motor and the documentation says the motor controller have to be "min. 20A, e.g. Rokraft 100 MP AMP", I've seen it in a online shop for 67€.

I've been also told this one could be nice: http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...idProduct=6468
It costs 8$ so the price is quite better, also it's smaller.

What motor controller would you recomend me? The Turnigy 30A BRUSHED ESC seems to be for rc airplanes, it's very small and I don't want to burn it inside the submarine as I'll be using a lead 6V 4Ah battery.

    Thank you for your help.

That $8.00 ESC does not appear to have a 'reverse'. No good.

Check this one out, available through Caswell (Duh!):

    Viper Sub 10

Forward and reverse Electronic Speed Control

The Sub ESC was designed specifically for the submarine model market.

The Viper Sub 10 incorporates high power Gen Xi-FET technology with a new heavy duty, light-weight heat-sink which provides 50% more effective cooling! The new intelligent power delivery system (PDS) minimizes wasted power, maximizes traction and reduces motor wear and heat. With improved protection, the Viper4 range offers something for all levels of the hobby!

    100% Waterproof
    40A motor limit
    6.0V to 12.0V Operating voltage (5 to 10 cells)
    1KHz drive frequency
    0.07V drop at 10A
    Maximum current rating, 40A
    1.5A Battery Eliminator Control
    Dimensions : L35.0mm x W36.0mm x H14.0mm
