    Painting has begun, Ford Oyster Gold, followed by Silver then the Black bands and stripes etc. After that, all that dirty work. All that trouble to make it clean and blemish free then make it appear like its been in a war lol.

    Am new to the group but just wanted to say that this is the first thread I've read closely and the build is just magnificent!
    Am so impressed by those who can scratch build and this is certainly one of the best I've seen!
    Congrats! Would love to see pics of her during her sea trials.

    I loved how the miniature would occasionally belch black smoke from the stack as it supposedly went through the gears.

    Whats a Pershing? To Americans, Pershing was a general that one of there tanks was named after in the later days of WW2.

    Not a submarine but thought you might be interested, Shadomobile on the rolling road set at Andercon. Fully RC, sound system, Duralium trailing arm suspension. From the same show as the Skydiver

    Lol. What I did today.Stingray Need s dirty work doing, Shadomobile needs a few decals and Dirty work doing, Skydiver will be in Primer for the Con. Not rushing it so I dont screw it up.

    Krylon....Wasnt that something in the C57D cruiser....no wait that was a Klystron reactor or something. Anyhoo, I have three days left before Andercon so its Touch up and finish the display Stingray, Finish the Mobile and Lastly If there is time make a start on the Skydiver Paint job. Otherwise it will be at the show in Primer.
