To R/C this beats, my first instincts would be to put a pair of thrusters hidden behind those flared gills. Make them azimuth to provide control over pitch, and you can work them independently to effect steering. For reverse, the thrust could be directed out through the mouth of the fish. If you want to make the tail swish about, that adds a little more complexity.
Well lets face it I'm no stranger to complexity am I now:biggrin:

She made the face the same way I did the stingray, ribs with filler (Sounds like a take away dish) then she put a round bit into the dremal and hit the face randomly creating the dimples. After "work" im going home and will put the face under rubber and then she can start her build thread soon after.

OK, first question: how did she do the 'face' of the fish, a texture pad? And if so, what's the substrate?

My son would LOVE that for a working sub.....Hmmmm? I wonder if I will get a Christmas bonus, last year Mr. Caswell took all my money :-) (actually he was very kind and generous).

As some of you will know My good lady has been busy on her own project to compliment my Stingray, Well I'm pleased to say she has finished the Master build and it wont be long before it goes under rubber. Here are a couple of pics.

Oh the other pics are of my Birthday gift to myself, A big Sky 1, I was at a meeting over last weekend and took lots and lots and lots of measurments of the Original.
And will build as close a replica as I can.

I was always told SD units were easy to install David, will there be an illustrated manual and will any broom do? LOL
