We never had an eleven 'o' clock news here in the UK, we used to have the nine 'o' clock news on the BBC, and the ten 'o' clock news on ITV. Now we have 24 hour news channels, so you can have it coming out of your ears!

Anyway......All this time I have put off joining the hulls together thinking about how big the WTC would be and if I had to put mounting brackets etc. Well I figured it out. You know the big blue Oval on the bottom of Stingray... see where I'm going with this? Mark it, Cut it out and Hey Presto Dark navy blue will conceal the join Just add a lip on the hull and a few well placed fixing screws of your choice..... Means you would have to work on it upside down and make up a mount so it fixes to the top hull, What do you guys think?
The first r/c submarine I made had to be inverted to access the innards. Just made me crazy. You're compelled to build and bring along a tall boat-stand, and you handle the model just a bit more than is safe (simply spinning the model around by hand to inverted is asking for damage).

I'm going to split the hull as delivered, Mamas (just got it, I hate you!) Plenty of access. I'll ring the perimeter with magnets, that will minimize the visible seam. I start test fitting SD's to this thing tomorrow. What a piece of work, true quality stuff here. This will be a show-stopper wherever you take it.

If there is a new-worthy event, the TV will tease the eleven PM newscast with a quick mention of the event followed by, "... and you can see more, News at Eleven!"

OK ... so it's 11:30 PM now. Sue me.

You made me a very happy camper, Mamas, and Bernie!:

Oh you young pups! In the days before digital streaming (analog was king), when records were played, phones had rotary dials, seat belts did little to help you when you ran into the metal dashboard, the live news reporters would have to wait for the film to be brought in from whatever incident that was being reported on, developed, edited and ready for broadcast. This took awhile. Then played later that evening. It would become a marketing catch phrase to get people to tune in at the 11pm broadcast.

Yep the gearbox used in that vid is a 4-1 so its way to fast, However today I attached a freed up servo and the spin rate is much slower and even better, Vid to be posted soon.

I'm with Andy on that. If you keep the current spin rate then we won't need a PJ if you put a little pitch in those strakes.
