Bow dive planes. Revell Gato Sub

    My first time posting,
I've installed the for'ard planes retract mechanism and the dive planes. When I operate the mechanism they deploy and retact nicely. But in thair deployed state they are at about 3 degres from being level. My question is to fix this do I lower the retract mechanism or make the retract arms longer?

I'm sure I'll have many more questions.

Lower the retract mechanism a bit.

3 degrees is not bad! However, before lowering (and that will help) make sure the bow plane operating shafts are all the way together. A gap will cause the dihedral angle as well.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
