I Took a break from building at the V60, i got me a few days off from work, so a attacked one item on the list, it waited far too long to be painted, pictures

The loader they used on the type XXIII, since it is only possible to load the torps from the outside, they builded this, made this item in copper some years ago, i must say, with some paint it looks better.

Torpedo's loaded, ready to be placed inside the tubes of a type XXIII

If you wonder how they get the torps on the cradles, they can swiffle outside, when the torpedo is placed they are centered with the launchingtubes.

Offcourse i had to make some hoisting-lines to get this contraption at the bow of my XXIII.

This is how it will work, the loadingdevice is 'bolted' to the boat's bow, they floated the rear trimcel of the boat, giving them the right angle for loading the torps.

Seen from another angle with both cadles inline position, it was fun to build but it will only be used at static display, still need to add some crew to the boat in the future.
