I found a great looking piece of 'Cabreuva Mahogany' wood (from Brazil) that was long enough to make stands for both the Gato and VII I'm working on.
It has got to be the hardest wood I've ever seen, sawing it is like sawing aluminum. Since It's also very heavy I needed to cut lightening holes in base piece. When drilling, sawing and routing it I started getting a Sick stomach and Dizzy.
So I looked up 'Cabreuva' on Internet and found that there were many reports of it making people sick when breathing gas it produces when cut.
I then continued with a better mask and in a better ventalated area.
I was wondering why they sold such a great piece of wood at such a low price. ;)
It will make great stands, but 'It's Always Something' :D
At least Termites will never eat them, It makes them sick too. :)
