Here's some pictures of my favorite Transmitter, which I built several years ago.
I like a pistol-grip type transmitter for ships, but needed at least 7-channels and wanted to be able to use one transmitter to operate on multiple frequencies. So I used the grip and knob from a Futaba 2-ch and attached them to an aluminum box.
I can switch 4 different operating freqencies and can switch from 7-ch. mode to 2-ch. mode, for ships that have 2-ch receivers, suce as sail boats.(channels 2 & 4 become 1 & 2).
7-ch mode will also work with other receivers, such as 4-channel.
It's been a great and versital unit. :)
