SOme pictures in the dry dock while preparing a new patrol for tomorrow. Weather forecast is good for tomorrow, so will try to take some video. I've improved trimming during former runs and now are able to keep periscope depth at low speed pretty good. Trimming is not necessary, it's indispensable. I've done some scuppers in the crows nest; otherwise, it remains full of water when surfaced. And about the emblems, I bought them at Moscow a couple of years ago. Also have an original "tchapka" (the leather hat) with emblem, but I don't dare to go to the pond wearing it.

          Peace,
          Tom
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Well, finally I trapped a fellow at the pond last Sunday and got some shots. Awfull camera and awfull images, but I think that you can see it running. As I have two left hands for the internet and so on, forgot to copy YOU TUBE link for the video. Let's try this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0nx0...eaAUAAAAAAAAAA

Nice, you should be proud. Now you need five or six more. Lets see....you need to do a SIERRA, ECHO,VICTOR. NAUTILUS, Type 21 Wilhelm Bauer.................................

Well, that day were targets for a complete wolfpack like you describe. You can see. On the other picture I specialyy like the bow wave. On the other hand, I had problem with my VII C, which is now at drydock. And are also trying to refurbish my 1/144 SEAWOLF. I think that it's a good sub fleet. But thinking in another sub (If the one who rules allows it. Read my wife), I'm thinking in a british one. I also have to look for space at the base (my workshop), cause it's quite crowdy.Click image for larger version
