Thanks Mate. I'm going to pull the whole thing down and see if I can make it good. Generous (as ever) of you to offer. -
Here's a new experience - for me at least. I'm fitting out the Albacore when I noticed this:
It must have gotten a pretty large bump in the shaft end during the move to the new house. Pushed the end cap right off the motor. I've put it back together but its definately not happy. The joys of moving!
Let's get that bad-boy back into the water!

Incidently, the photographs don't convey any where near the level of energy that this little boat exudes. It looks like its going a hundered miles an hour when its sitting still.Leave a comment:

Dave you are a smartass, because I got everything going before I read this post. I didn’t see the rods in the package because I didn’t open the last tube up with the snorkel until I needed it. All servos and control pushrods are hooked up and working. So there. (Tongue stuck out).Leave a comment:

Dave, how do you manage to know exactly where to make the bends in your linkage? I’ve lost my touch since it’s been 15 years since I’ve built one.Leave a comment:

I prefer the short tail. Do you have a drawing or detail of the counter rotating prop system?Leave a comment:

Looks great Dave. Is the sail rudder actuating in the direction to counteract roll?Leave a comment:
