The 3 d printer parts were designs to mate with the 1/30 German modeled U 1407 Type XVIIB

Let me fetch files tomorrow. My hull is a 1/30 Type XVIIB like yours. The parts I had made by SHAPEWAYS. I will get you the pages and orer yourself . I had to pay $450 fo rhte stern planes. There are also the moveable control surfaces ot buy too. The stern planes I had then make had one error I corrected in mine. The vertical top and bottom rear fins need to be 1/4 inch taller top and bottom. The horizontal finns are perfect sixe. I will need ot have them adjust the fin height and the height of the vertical rudder too first. so they are correct before you order yours. The new fi top made by Vickers for Meteorite I also made too. it fits like a glove. you must saw of the top of a 1/30 scale stock conning tower and add your new top to it. The Meteorite also had the torpedo loading hatch modified into a vertical (not angled) escape hatch The casing deck was simply opened up into a square opening in the casing exposing the hatch and left open to the sea for faster dives . your hull is wonderful its been in my show too many year. Now its finally coming to life. (like me again)..lol

Yu can rder from shapewatys and choose your printing material. I used a very strong water resistant fine detailed plastic.

The 3D printed stern section fits well too after sawing off the hulls stern piece replacing with the new stern planes.

    Steve
