  • WTS/WTT Vintage Darnell Type XXIII U-Boat

I have a vintage 1/35 scale Darnell Type XXIII hull kit, in fiberglass construction with cast resin appendages and pre-cut WTC saddles that I got From Bob at Nautilus drydocks as part of his "Pay-it-forward" program.

Because I already have a Bronco version of this same boat as well as a 1/32 Type VII U-Boat to work on, I've decided to let this go to anyone interested since right now all it's doing is gathering dust and I've decided to just build the Bronco version as a static display model only.

Being as this boat is fiberglass and pretty stout at that, it's perfect for R/C and I'm sure you can get a great cylinder set-up from Bob that'll mesh well with the pre-cut WTC saddles that come with this kit.

Asking price is $100 plus shipping to your locale although I am willing to trade this in the spirit of Bob's "Pay-it Forward" program for something of equal value although I really can't think of anything at this moment.

I'll post pics of the kit tomorrow.
