Bad news: It does not appear to be one or both motors. I separated them, no change. I replaced the motors by installing a new motor bulkhead, no change. I'm going to stick with the new motors and easter-egg all devices till I find this damned cause of the chattering! I feel like Cal Meachem trying to assemble an Interoceter without the instruction booklet! Click image for larger version

And whatever it is making the ADF2 waggle the blow servo...

Thanks for all the time you've spent.

Are you going to be able to glue the 180 degree turn resin attachment to the LPB ports? This was also something I asked if you could do, since I didn't think I could glue it and still miss the rudder/ planes seals. I mentioned it in my letter that came with the tray, but I realize it's been awhile now, and it may have been put aside. If you don't have time, that's fine, I'll just need the fitting back...

I've got a box full of just assembled and tested 2" SD motor-bulkheads. I'm going to hook one of these up to your device tray see what we get. If no stuttering, then that's the bulkhead you'll get and I start digging into the motor(s) to find crap shorting between case and armature. Things will be resolved today and I'll have a report off to you tonight or tomorrow, followed by shipment of the repaired unit. And thank you for putting up with this long delayed work.Click image for larger version

Something wrong with a motor then? I was a little worried when I noticed the starboard motor turning slower.

Did Satlite ever get his issues straightened out?

Thanks for all your help on this, Dave.

Would you like a foot or two of lead sheet foil to wrap around things? It's sticky one side, so you could plaster it all over the place.

    No apologies needed.

Better to take the time to understand and solidly resolve RC stuff, than to rush-rush the job, be it a sub, sailboat, truck, heli, etc. Just wanted to make sure you didn't forget me. :)

    Carry on...
