    Making Your Own Flags

I found a neat way of making flags out of cloth. Its easy to print up something on paper, but a paper flag just looks pitiful and will fall apart on the first dive.

I found some special sheets of paper for making T Shirt prints. These are placed into a bubblejet printer, the image printed onto the paper, then ironed onto the cloth.

Take any image of your flag, and using any your favorite program, resize the image to the scale you need. Make a reverse image, then place the two images back to back, and then print onto the special paper. You might like to leave a small gap between the two images to allow for the flagpole circumference.

By folding the prints around the edge of a piece of white T Shirt or thin cotton material, the two images can be ironed onto the one piece of cloth, so both sides of the flag are printed.

It's really easy to do and the end result is a flag that is also somewhat waterproof.
