    PCF SWIFT in 1:12 scale

While I wait for sub parts, I thought I would share my next surface runner. Building this to go with my PBR in the same scale. Model is 50" long and will feature a near identical build to the PBR. Scale printed Detroit diesels, weapons and fittings. I am even swapping the figures between them. Twin Tacon .32 outrunners offer plenty of quiet power.

Detroit diesels are finished and look good to me. Same methods but needed to be chopped up to fit in the resin printer.

Superstructure done entirely in styrene. Rear engine vents and details are printed and functional. Sound unit will sit behind the vents.

Quick lake test with some dive weights added for future weight. Very happy with the performance and quiet driveline. Going to be a blast seeing both boats on the water.

First trip out testing the driveline. Hull is 50” long running 2 Tacon outrunners and a diesel sound generator. Need to tune the engine sound and water cooli...

Great looking model! I was on the PCF at the museum in San Diego and it was amazing. Next time I go I'll take the actual ride they offer. https://sdmaritime.org/visit/the-shi...16-swift-boat/
