Question to David about Alternatives to gas based ballast system

    David,

All of your subdriver rely on a gas, either pressurized propane/butane or atmospheric air sucked in through a snorkel mast or or a hybrid of both, for surfacing.

Have you ever explored using other systems, like pumps or pistons?

    Thanks

How do submarines dive? What brings them back up? View information about various RC submarine dive technologies.

Agreed Nope. An example is the standard OTW dive units do not use gas or need gas or atmospheric air from the surface.

Was asking He Who Shall Not Be Named if he ever made, either something he was experimenting on or as a commission work a WTC that did not utilize gas (Propel/ Snort) to surface like a piston tank, water pump like OTW, R&R, RCShipyard and others.

          He said nope.

I believe this is the shortest answer Dave has ever given.
Of the 40,000 men who served on German submarines, 30,000 never returned.”
