Revell is rereleasing their Type IX as an early-war boat. Has anyone ever thought about/tried to convert the Revell kit to a Type IXB? I want to build Hardegen's U-123, but i also want to build a IXC.
When thinking about a similar project with a Type VIIB. it, too, will sit next to VIIC.
Bob said it's feasible to swap a sub driver between models built from the same kit, so probably i'd prefer to base it on the Revell. anyone converted one of these? anyone know of good, accurate IXB and VIIB plans? anyone know of a list of differences between the B and C types of each?
