Its a very slightly sloped swimming pond. If you walk out 20 feet your only up to your mid thigh. Way out by the rope im sure its 5 or 6 feet.

If you look carefully in the second video, you can see the rotating radar aerial. Very realistic.

Thanks for saying so, Alec. I'm sure your model will turn out just fine, if not better. The Revell Gato already has much of the detail built into the model, and much much easier to trim out compared to the larger fiberglass hulls, IMO anyway.
Take your time, there's no rush. "Haste makes waist" is the the thought of the day. Plan your ojectives in advance, and the means to accomplish the task at hand would be my advise.
There's a lot a good information related to the Revell Gato conversion within those threads, which is nice.
