Hello, can anyone here recommend a source for Scale 1/72 Revell Type VII & IX Uboat propellers & 1/96 Russian Kilo Submarine with 1/8" threaded shaft and 3/16" threaded shaft for the Kilo?

    Cryptic website, great props....

We supply a large range of model boat propellers. Most propellers are made to order however we do keep a selection of popular scale props.

Thank You for the link. Have to ask, are the props ordered by scale OR is there a diameter size needed to be quoted? If so, what is the diameter and prop blade number for the 1/72 Type VII & IX and the 1/96 Kilo ?

Diameter, Hub size, rotation direction, thread size.....it's very cryptic. I'd send them a mail and ask for help. They made tha brass casting for my Nautilus props.

The Prop Shop is excellent, and they will also make you custom props too. the alloys in the prop shop have a higher mixture of copper with brass in with their products, the props are very stiff and robust.

Years ago the Prop Shop suffered a terrible fire and almost disappeared. They are back thank goodness.

The Raboesch Precision Ship's Propellers from Holland are excellent too but their metal has a higher percentage of brass, so the metal is a slightly softer. In either case always treat your propellers with great care.

It not too 'cryptic' as some suggest but take your time to get your specifications correct. You're in the adult model world now building RC submarines, Not piecing together an RC CAR 'Toy' now where everything is made for you. You have to think. It not hard at all and everyone in here is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Remember RIGHT HAND props when turning for forward thrust when viewed from the back turn CLOCKWISE.

LEFT HAND props when turning for forward thrust viewed from the back turn COUNTER- CLOCKWISE.
