    Cabin Fever Expo 2025

Coming January 17-18 will be a big model show in PA. They will errect a big indoor pool for us to run our submarines and targets. I'll be there with some other notables in our community. Consider making this event.

A maybe for me. Went there once in 2013. Made a pair of videos when I went there. Pretty sure the 'pond' there is the same pond that was used at the defunct AMA show in Secaucus NJ.

Thanks, Ken. Most instructive. I'll have to check keel-depth-at-periscope-depth on the models I plan to bring. Looks like plenty of turning room with that pool.

Can you take plenty of video or pictures? It looks like a very interesting event.

Will do. I'm starting to come to terms with these great little, highly capable GoPro cameras Fred outfitted me with. Video and still will be taken, sir.

I attend every year (at least the last 10+ years), great fun, the emphasis at the shows are now rc construction trucks, steam trains and engines with boats a lesser focus, if you have a sharp eye in the second video you can see Jim Butt sitting with his sub at the corner of the pond, I think there were two or three subs total last year. Mmmm I'll have to ponder bringing a sub this year?

give you a little better idea of the size, the water is not very deep --> Cabin Fever Model Expo 2023, Rc Steam boats

Yeah, the GoPro’s are pretty cool. It seems like they vastly improve as time goes on.

Setting up at Cabin Fever. They normally keep the pond at 12 inches. Since we are here they are making it 14 inches.

Looks like a real great event, and great preparation work on the event planners to give you such a nice venue to run it. As stated by Casey, some videos and photos would be great for those of us that cannot attend.
                    Thank you!

And thank you to Ken for the YouTube videos of the past events.
