OK! Let's get at it! What do you think about N Korea's newest toy? Is it a hopped up Soviet? Or cardboard and chicken wire?

Stop messing about - just get a Sub-driver!

This could be the next evolution of the Gorae Class SSB. I believe it could be operational, housing multiple missile tubes in the turtleback.

No, this is not Russian nor a rebuild Romeo, it looks like Gorae with the single launch tube removed, fairwater planes for submerged launching stability and a new missile section inserted.

Though i do not think it is a production model, but relaunch of the aforementioned Gorea with a lot of propaganda bling bling. Danger depends on their missile capabilities, yet that boat is diesel-electric for sure.

    Suggestions? Romel? Gantu?

Update: ass-end is Romeo, take a look at this:

The bizarre rework of an antique Romeo class diesel-electric submarine points to the Kim regime's second strike nuclear deterrent dreams.

There are four larger doors and SIX SMALER. Might be theyll trade weapons for Russian Kalibr- cruise missiles?

Interesting development for sure but it'll last about 3 minutes and won't hear or see the Virginia that gets it.

It is a modified Romeo. They were obsolete pieces of junk fifty years ago and easy to track. Their submarine force is not a true blue water Navy and has a lifespan measured in hours should their removal be required. The video released yesterday of his senior naval officers clapping like seals when their Dear Leader donned an officer's hat is priceless.

I wonder if fat boy could get through a hatch?
Of the 40,000 men who served on German submarines, 30,000 never returned.”

That's why they got 4 large doors.

                    Smaller ones are for missiles.

Not gonna lie... I bet he dresses better than anyone else who attends Subfest.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
