Hi Ken. Really great thread. I wanted to point out that one of your posts has sort of a contradiction. You first mention there are a lot of "must have" tools or accessory's but then mention "tool envy" or the reasons not to complete a job because there is something you need that you don't have. While there are certainly jobs where this is true I believe in general you do what you can with what you have and there is almost always a way to make it work. I have a couple small Lathes and have found them extremely useful over the years, not just for modeling but I even made a pilot bearing for a 1920's Rolls Royce with a Taig Micro-Laith. You never know until you try.
