    Fishing line, trim and rudders

Decided to take advantage of Indian number 3 up here in WI to put the R-10 in after making trim adjustments recommended by Bob at OTW. Also replaced the old leveler with an AD2.

Dive behavior was much better. Still needs a bit (1/4 oz) of weight (removal of foam) in the bow.

t found some fishing line. I managed to break the line to the shore, but the prop was fouled, and she was drifting into deeper water. So in I went. Up to mid thigh. That was COLD water. Note to self: the sub may run fine, but something else may make you take a swim. Last time I had the duck wadders, but this time I skipped that. Added to the checklist.

Unfortunately, while clearing the fishing line, the starboard rudder bearing cracked free. And the NIMH battery developed a leak. Joy. Drydock time.

Still, had some good fun, and was enjoying the performance.
