Many years ago through Bob I found a giant model submarine on the side of the road that turned out to be the filming effects miniature from the movie U-571.


Well, yesterday while delivering a car in the middle of nowhere I found another submarine on the side of the road. Now, admittedly this one isn't as exciting or interesting but two subs found on the side of the road? what are the odds?

Very cool find, Jason!

There was a scrap auto parts store back in Naples that had a sub like this one mounted on a 30ft post above their shop. Seems like lots of these around, but you don't really hear about them actually working often!
