      Did you range-check that system? The front-end of that receiver will have to be re-tuned to the 75mHz band.

          No, I have not yet done any range testing. I will sometime soon once it stops raining.

              Dam i remember when I had 300 new Futaba 75mhz dual conversion sets. When I sold a radio system, people always asked for extra channels and they went fast.

                I really lucked out on eBay Bid! This is a like new Airtronics Vanguard 4 channel FM radio system complete. Totally functional and complete with both batteries, plus servos. These radio system for our submarines are worth their weight in gold, for sure! Not going to tell you what I paid for it, you would not believe it....

                    It's hard to tell from the picture... but I guess a fix for that would be to fabricate a thin metal strap across the top of the gimbal secured under the two screws...

                    I also have a few cracks due to age... thank goodness my radios are still ok!
