75 mHz AM radio for sub?

Not sure how well AM penetrates VS FM. Opinions/experience?

The problem is could you find any. I think Bob still has some FM set.
evil bay, rolling of the dice. (FM pop up more, AM is mostly up to 5 channel, Any more than that is about 30yrs. Old stuff)
or roll your own Frankenstein transmitter.
I did it, more coming soon ,one sick puppy.
(433MHz is too dying, fly boys are move to 900 MHz)
find the receiver frist, then the transmitter.
receiver hard to be find, 2 airtronics receiver popped up, gone in hours. And that is the old type guarantee to fry everything you have. (Airtronics hate everyone at that time, good receiver those.)
Forget receiver no dual conversion RX crystals, futaba hitec all dryed up.
Single conversion you still find some, but could you live with only 3 channel.
Go HAM, 50MHz this stuff is popping up more, fly boys move to 2.4GHz, sale them for new toys.

I ask as a buddy of mine gave me a 6 channel conquest on 75 mhz. He also gave me a 7 channel receiver to go with it.. although it's huge. Not certain if the radio even works yet, but if it has promise it might just go off to Tony to get worked over.

Cool freebies, you have to take the case off anyway to water proof it, you could replace the pins with right angle pins to save some space. Tape or heat shirk the receiver.

        That's not big, this big.

I had a couple of the Berg postage stamp receivers back in the day. Thought they were the last word in miniurization.. not by a long shot

This would be very exciting if it was possible. The problem is that wi-fi frequencies generally start at 2.4 GHz and go up from there. Connecting two devices with wi-fi underwater is possible if you use a coaxial cable between them but I suspect that that's not what you had in mind.

If you have information to the contrary please share it.
