I am considering on building a model of the Parche SSN 683, but I am trying to find out if any has a idea if the attachment below the hull of the sub was by any chance an actual part of the sub design after she was modified? Any help would be great with the project. I have seen one model in photos that was built, but the modeler didn't include the lower section, maybe they knew one way or the other.
