Oh, ****! Has this place turned into a frig'n dating site???

    On a more serious note:

At 75 -- and now without my good pal, Ellie -- I've become ever more mindful that, with the time remaining, I have an obligation to download what I've learned of this Craft and do my bit to pass the torch.

I believe legacy is the only connection the dead have with the living. Just working to secure my own.

Selfish? Yes. Useful? Relevant? You be the judge.

I live to please myself. What I have done and continue to do is to pursue a life of self-satisfaction, the maintenance of an abundant pride. To Think, Accomplish, and wallow in my good works. To enjoy the ride and serve no man and make no man serve me (said with a nod to the great philosopher, Ayn Rand).

                  Dave,
that ChiCom ballistic boat you’ve been working on here and there, can the supplied dive planes and rudders be modified for use in RC? Also, if one wanted to make it dynamic, what size is compatible? Thanks.

All control surfaces were kit supplied and presented little trouble converting them to practical use.

                      Two-inch diameter WTC recommended.

Thanks buddy. Mine is coming. Can you provide the page that you started that kit? I tried the search, but it didn’t find anything. I’m interested in the part where you drill the ballast intakes.

Carol and I spent time with her siblings in NC. On the way home Carol wanted to go thru the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Our halfway point home on a 12ish hour drive was the Norfolk area. We do not do 12 hour drives so since David is in the Norfolk area he kindly let us stay overnight. We went out to dinner and had a great time BSing about just about anything. We also spent some shop time doing a few things in David's shop. We spun some molten metal in the centrifuge. Specifically we made a pair of props for my future soon to start Bronco XXIII. Amazing how well the parts come out of the centrifuge. And I watched David put the finishing touches on the props. Thank you David for the place to stay, company and the shop time and props.
