It seems you have a double standard.
Of the 40,000 men who served on German submarines, 30,000 never returned.”

I work with what is local. Jake is local. You are not.

Now that was entertaining. This sucker would've been like lightning going through the water on this windy day even more so, but it had all six torpedo tube muzzle doors open. It got across that lake going into the wind in no time...without hitting one of the sandbars.

Hear ya, Ken. As you well appreciate it's this kind of **** that seems to take forever. Yet, before you know it, it's done. And once the big reveal is at hand -- removal of all those bandages... er.... masking tape -- you find that it was all worth the time and effort. Or... not!

                    • Twilight zone! On my bucket list to watch. Carol's not too keen on it.

Takes forever but an awesome learning experience! Practice, and that is where a test article helps.

Treat yourselves: watch anything written by Rod Serling. Start with Seven Days In May and work your way up to the old TZ episodes. Carol will love 'em!

                          • Soon there will be a commercially available r/c model kit, to the scale of 1/60 of the USS ALABACORE. Stay tuned, sports-fans!

                              • I see a bottle/can of Evercoat Metal Glaze that you used for filling in the build up of the deck. I have been using Evercoat Euro-Soft for my filling. Love the stuff but it hardens so quickly. It sands very nice. Could it be I'm using too much catalyst to kick it off? You don't seem to need very much for it to kick off.

What would the difference be between the Metal Glaze and Euro-Soft?

And I always need to source/buy an additional larger tube of the catalyst (if I'm using the correct term).
