HMS URGE
I'm always interested in submarines, and especially so when Malta is mentioned. From the age of two until I was five, I lived in Malta as my dad was stationed there as a CPO ERA, repairing the boats that were returning to England from Trincomalee in the Far East operations. So reading this brought back many memories of my many visits onto the submarines in Valletta docks. My dad would take me on board and show me 'stuff'. I pressed the Klaxon button once (after being told not to) and scared half of Malta to death, thinking the Germans were attacking again.
Anyhow, here's the link. Nice to see the poor souls who perished in this loss will be recognised and memorialised.
