1/72 Alpha from Bob Martins completed Projects

Bob, as I was going thru some of your Completed projects on Nautilus Drydocks, I came across the 1/72 scale Alpha. It sounded like additional Hulls might be available. Are you going to be a source for them?

No, If I'm not mistaken, Tim Cobb sold those molds to Don with Loyalhana Dockyard. He plans to kit them up and sell them. Hunting around his site, I found the sub kits page, but no sign of the Alfa. You could drop him a line and see where he's at if you're interested.

Don has one of the Alpha hulls up for auction on ebay right now. You can't see the scribed in detail very well but Tim did a great job on it. I have an old 3" sub-driver installed in one of Tim's completed hulls but it is too cold here to continue the ballasting.

If anyone is blessed enough by the submarine gods to be able to actually communicate in some form or fashion with Loyalhanna dockyards , I would like to know if he still has the Graupner Shark for sale and how much

                Hello greenman407

I have always had a reply from Don at this email: don@loyalhannadockyard.com

Remember though Don works a lot out of town and your email may take several days to a week to get a reply to.

                Good luck to you.

                George
