It seems if you want to just reply on a topic with a simple few words or a link, the forum software rejects the post as having no content, however it does actually post the content when you refresh the page.

Andy, thanks for letting me know. I'm hoping that this could be a case of, "if it ain't broke", but I know it's aggravating to see the error.
There is an update to the software, but I've yet to find time to install it (and as this is the first time I'll have done it, I'm fearful of breaking everything!)
