    Slats Shipyard

Getting back into the hobby - I tend to float from project to project - including target construction. On the bench today, HMAS Sheean (1/72 Collins class) and 1/72 USS Columbus 688i aft of her - starting assembly of both boats. The Collins features a mechanical mixer for the X fin config. The Collins comes from a new local (Australian) supplier SJB - no webpage - unfortunately, and he doesn't sell internationally. The 688i is from Jim Russell (QLD Australia) - who also supplies the x-fin mixer for the Collins.

The Collins hull is a thing of beauty, really well laid up by Steve B. I only know this cause I transported it back from Wagga Wagga Steve does have a website now but as Slats stated he doesn't sell outside of Oz. ( http://www.sjbshipmodels.stevesmodelshipshed.com )

Where the hull is a beauty, the X plane mixer is pure sorcery.....Da Vinci would be pleased!!

    Cheers Bruce
