I know another submarine? Scratch built Verne Nautilus

I built this many moons ago. I was bored and always like the early concept Nautilus images. So with a bit of styrene and a piece of PVC pipe I built this boat. The bow and stern were all styrene. Styrene bulkheads, longerons and sheeted with styrene. Aluminium tape for rivets ans a brass railing. It was lighted too.

I dug it out yesterday. It was covered in dust and missing the bow planes but other than that in one piece. I plan to restore it back to it's former glory. She was a lot of fun to drive.

Great Steve! I have another secret project that I dug out of the archives. It's great to see this revival in us.

Yep I'm building an RCABS cylinder for it that I can use in the 23 too. Yes it is good to be back to all this. I have a bunch of old pumps, a bunch of motors, some geared, escs, and more. Fun, fun. Just got the Acrylic tubing and more servos and a prop for the 23 from Bob yesterday.

Steve, you amaze me/ disgust me...Im amazed that you can just whip up a sub when the mood catches you, and Im disgusted that your talents eclipse mine 100x over. That Nautilus is quite beautiful.

Not yet Rob. starting Monday. I'm snowed under here felling orders for customers. Our model rockets continue to sell of the X-15. Soon I'll add the 598 to our store. ;)
