Working on the toilet...a special one that was emptied using compressed air.

Puzzle work....the rudder works via a thread drive. The respective crank rods are a pain to fit in. Had to re-design the ventilation tubes more than one time.

Added the stern hydroplane drive. Again a rotating shaft drives a gear that re-directs the rotation downwars by 90°. A threaded drive then translates the rotation into an up and down movement that is then re-directed via a deflection lever towards the plane itself....tricky.

Started experimenting with my new 3D printer. Some t-frames for first fitting tests. Quite pleased with it...

Started priniting the parts for the Diesel. Took me some time to get the motor block right, but getting there.

Diesel is taking shape. Quite pleased with the quality of the 3D-printed parts...

That picture of the engine makes it very clear: the machines make model parts better than any human hand could. The ghosts of the Krell beckon!

Dave's Id monster is about to go on the rampage. Cue eerie electronic sounds from the Barron's.

No, Bob will replace David with AI technology that will mimic David's responses. David will become like the (old) show Max Headroom. He will live forever!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Fuel lines and the pusch rods for the rocking levers....tedious.

Oil, fuel, and cooling water pumps, rpm-meter, cooling water lines to the cylinder heads and the motor block, and of course the exhaust. Small stuff...
